Christmas 2014

2014:  Russ & Suzanne Ballard wish you all a very Merry  Christmas and a Happy New Year 2015! 

May the Savior Jesus Christ be remembered at this season and throughout the year. This is HIS holiday and we bear testimony of His Divinity and love for us all.  

Our 2014 Family Reunion above included all our family except our youngest daughter, Megan, and her family (pictured below).  If you click on the photos they will enlarge.

We had a Thanksgiving visit from Megan's family (Megan, Nick, Ashleigh, Preston) - which for SOME reason I can't get to paste onto here straight!!:

 The reunion was held at the Heber Valley Camp, which was so wonderful with obstacle courses and zip line and wildlife wandering into camp!  We also had a trip to the Pacific Northwest in April (where Suzanne fractured her back!), a trip to see Russ's mom & brother in Elko, two trips to southern Utah to visit cousins, and are anticipating a trip to Seattle after Christmas for Avery's baptism.  Russ lost his Aunt Ruth this year (his mother's last sister).

Each of our children's families are doing well:

KEVIN & Jana B (Sheridan, Teriesa, Nathan, Cooper, Amelia, Tyler) live in Saratoga Springs, UT.

TAMSEN & Todd Bo (Braeden, Ethan, Maura) live a few blocks from us in Cedar Hills, UT.  Todd lives in a nursing home in American Fork, UT.

EMILY & Patrick M (Bridget, Avery, Finley) live in Maple Valley, WA (near Seattle)

MEGAN & Nick C (Ashleigh, Preston) are the only family that still lives in Vancouver, WA.

RYAN & Sara P (Tyce, Teagan, Talon, Tage) live north of us in Syracuse, UT.

We are proud that they all love the Lord and serve Him as called or inspired.  Everyone is caring for their delightful families so well.  We've had two grandsons complete their Boy Scout Eagle Project this year (Tyce and Teagan) and many who keep us busy watching games and concerts and competitions. There were also 3  baptisms this year (Cooper, Tage, Avery), as well as Temple baptism trips.  We LOVE being grandparents!

RUSS continues as a High Councilman and a Guide Coordinator in the Mt Timpanogos Temple. He will be working the tax season for H&R Block in 2015.

SUZANNE has had many health issues this year, but continues to work at Edward Jones Investments and serves on the Family History Committee in Church.
